You may know it as Lemoncello or by its more Italian spelling, Limoncello. Either way, this is one of the sweetest lemony strains available today. Originally bred by the team at Growing Passion and now offered by Red Bee Seeds, Limoncello #28 is a balanced hybrid created as a cross between The Original Lemonade (sometimes referred to as Lemonade) and Cherry Pie. It's intensely citrusy and sour, with a flavor that's almost as intense as licking a lemon. Yet, underneath this citrus bite, you'll get notes of berries and cherries.

This strain has been around for years, taking home 1st place at the High Times' Cannabis Cup Amsterdam in 2008 and 2009. As Red Bee Seeds tells it, this is the perfect strain for any time of day, thanks to its mellow buzz that melts into the mind and body. It's never too sleepy for daytime sessions, but still relaxing enough for evening use.
